Julia Tiffin’s Practice both endorses the integrity and work done by Journey of Enrichment and is a volunteer for the distribution of food to those less fortunate in Cape Town city.
Joe’s Journey of Enrichment started as Joe’s Feeding Scheme in 2009. It was founded in loving memory of Yusuf ‘Joe’ Abrahams, a dear son, brother and friend whose kind heart touched the lives of so many! Through the formation of the NPO, those who loved Joe wished to extend that same kindness to those in need and keep his memory alive.
This initiative takes place several times a year, where helping hands and willing hearts come together to prepare and distribute food or food parcels to those in need in the community. We also partake in other drives and support other charitable organisations where possible.
Over the years they have steadily increased their community reach, formed meaningful relationships through their presence and have:
- Formally registered as an NPO in 2015
- Received an award for Local Community Partnership with the Cape Town International Convention Center (CTICC) in 2017
Journey of Enrichment is now visible on influential platforms where they can receive generous donations that allow them to achieve their goals with more ease and efficiency.
As an NPO, their dream is to extend their reach beyond Food Supply and to Empower our societies so that those who are less fortunate can live their most optimal, self-sufficient lives and create the best future for younger generations through education and life skills.
