Eclectic line-up of health, entertainment and more at Celebrate Life Festival on 7 & 8 June

An eclectic line-up of holistic living options, entertainment and a myriad of products and services has been assembled for the 12th edition of Cape Town’s popular Celebrate Life Festival at the River Club in Observatory on the weekend of 7 & 8 June 2014.

 

Created to provide an affordable opportunity for exploring a multitude of life-enhancing options in a single location, the festival encompasses everything healthy, esoteric, eco-friendly and sustainable presented in comfortable surroundings and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

 

Internationally acclaimed experts in health and wellbeing present 60 minute talks alongside interactive workshops, engaging demonstrations, entertaining performances and a comprehensive array of healing modalities, products, services and tasty, nutritious food and beverages.

 

“Health and wellbeing is everybody’s No. 1 priority,” says festival coordinator Paul Botha. “The line-up at this year’s Celebrate Life Festival provides an enjoyable platform for hearing from and interacting with experts, discovering new modalities, sampling exotic treatments and browsing a wide spectrum of products and services.”

 

The speaker programme covers a diverse range of topics including Angels, Innate Intelligence, Divine Guidance, The Purpose of Life, Applied Mysticism, Kabbalistic Healing, Astrology, Zen Coaching and Sacred Sound presented by the likes of Dr Arthur Seltzer, Natalia Baker, Belinda Silbert, Michelle Vooght, Andrew Simpson, John Homewood and a dozen more leading lights in their respective fields..

 

The interactive workshops feature Fiona Almeleh, Theresa Walstra, Biodanza, Tarot and Sound Therapy while demonstrations range from Rawlean food preparation techniques, Hip Fusion and Yogabelly dancing to ambient music by Hear & Now and the unique sounds of Chris “Marvelous Mouth” Tokalon, who is also the MC for the show.

 

Scores of stall holders display, sell and offer treatments, various forms of massage, gifts, tuition, books, readings, counseling, apparel, jewellery, a delicious assortment of healthy food and drinks and much, much more.

 

The Celebrate Life Festival is a joyous gathering where you are encouraged to spoil your body, broaden your mind and nourish your spirit inside the plush surroundings of the recently renovated River Club, which is conveniently situated close to all of the Peninsula’s freeways and offers ample free onsite parking.

 

One entry fee (R70/day or R120/weekend, R40/day for pensioners and students) secures access to all talks, workshops, demonstrations, performances and exhibitors.
